Job summary

Mid-State seeks a Licensed Journeyman Millwright to install, maintain, and repair machinery across industrial settings. Expect to read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems while upholding strict safety standards. Must be able to travel and work up to 12 hours daily.

You will be responsible for aligning equipment, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with foremen to complete daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold an active Licensed Journeyman Card
• 2 years verifiable work experience as Millwright preferred.
• Knowledge of rigging and material handling
• Demonstrated strong communication and documentation skills
• Must be a self-starter who can work safely under high-pressure situations
• Must have experience in aggregate or agricultural millwright services.
• Must be capable of performing skilled labor for up to 12 hours a day.
• Must be able to work on equipment 50+ feet in the air on occasion.
• Must be willing to travel for work with some overnight travel necessary.
• Must be dependable and operate with a high level of integrity.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Welding & fabricating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment conveying systems, and major machine centers
• Read and understand drawings such as blueprints and schematics.
• Perform preventive maintenance and hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting
• Practice safe work habits
• Use of hand and power tools
• Operation of shop and maintenance related equipment
• Preform proper alignments of process equipment
• Work with foreman to complete daily tasks
