Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a skilled Millwright in Michigan to install, assemble, and dismantle machinery and conveyor systems. You will interpret layouts and specifications, operate lifting equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical systems in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires reading technical drawings, welding knowledge, and precision work with micrometers to achieve tight tolerances on complex equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of millwright experience or equivalent apprenticeship/full training.
• Ability to work various shifts including overtime.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read layouts, blueprints, drawings or specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery, conveyor systems, gearboxes and control systems.
• Transport and locate machines using forklifts, hoists, winches, cranes.
• Assemble machines from component parts and understand machine function.
• Use precision measuring devices to achieve extreme tolerances.
• Perform incidental tasks to complete larger projects.
