Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a skilled Millwright to install, assemble, and dismantle machinery and conveyor systems in a manufacturing environment. You will locate and position equipment using forklifts, hoists, and cranes, and assemble components according to detailed plans.

The role requires reading blueprints, welding when needed, and performing precision maintenance to meet stringent tolerances. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years of related experience or completed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 4+ years combined experience or apprenticed Millwright; or DOL Millwright apprenticeship completion; or 8 years millwright experience; or 5 years plus 3 years in related trade.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime including weekends/holidays.
• Experience as a millwright in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read layout plans/drawings/specs to determine procedures.
• Ability to dismantle machines with hand tools and perform maintenance tasks.
• Experience welding (arc, acetylene, hydrogen).
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers, trucks.
• Use tools like drill presses, power saws, cutting torches; adjust parts.
• Clean, lubricate, or adjust machinery; perform incidental tasks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery and conveyors.
• Move machines to required location using lifts and equipment.
• Assemble equipment from component parts and understand machine operation.
• Weld and perform related maintenance as required.
• Follow floor plans and blueprints for proper procedure.
