hth companies seeks a skilled Millwright to repair, maintain, and install industrial equipment across manufacturing sites in the Midwest. You will read blueprints, use hand and power tools, weld and braze as needed, and move machinery with rigging equipment.

The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, safety awareness, and the capacity to work in varied conditions, including outdoor and indoor environments, with meticulous records and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to use a variety of tools, including blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
• Broad understanding of equipment and machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid safety knowledge and adherence to guidelines.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of safety principles and procedures.
• Excellent time management and deadline focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation of large industrial equipment.
• Assemble, install, align, and adjust piping, valves, pumps, and related equipment.
• Test machines and modify settings to meet specifications.
• Dismantle existing equipment as needed.
• Gather parts for repairs based on blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and address unexpected issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on aging equipment.
• Advise management on new machinery needs and improvements.
• Plan and execute installation of new or refurbished machinery and foundations.
• Conduct safety inspections and maintain logs.
