Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a meat department team member to support daily operations in meat, seafood, and deli sections. Responsibilities include receiving, cutting, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires prior meat cutting experience and completion of a training program or apprenticeship. Knowledge of wrapping machines is preferred; expect a fast-paced, team-focused environment with strong member service.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, including grinds.
• Assists in meat selection and cuts special meat arrangements for Members.
• Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, display fixtures, and areas in the meat department.
