Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a team member for the Meat Department in a full-time role. You will receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandize fresh and processed meats while assisting Members and maintaining high sanitation standards.

Position requires completion of a training/apprenticeship and prior meat cutting experience. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members with meat, poultry, and seafood questions.
• Prepares special meat cuts for Members.
• Ensures proper weighing, packaging, and labeling of meat products.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Rotates stock and keeps cases stocked and appealing.
