Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations about meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Prepares special cuts of meat ordered by Members; weighs, packages, and labels.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in the meat department.
• Rotates products and ensures case coverage and inventory levels.
