Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Meat Department Team Member to receive, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats, including special cuts for Members. You will maintain inventory, ensure sanitation, and help in deli and seafood areas as needed.

Qualified applicants have previous meat-cutting experience and are at least 18 years old. The role offers competitive hourly pay, weekly payroll, and benefits designed to support you and your family.

Qualifications

• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, rotates, cuts, wraps, and merchandises fresh and processed meats, including grinds.
• Assists in merchandising seafood, prepared foods, cheeses and pre-packed deli and assists in the rotisserie chicken area and full service deli.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards within the meat department and in display cases.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, prepared foods, and cheeses according to expiration dates.
