Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a meat department team member to receive, rotate, cut, wrap, and merchandise fresh and processed meats. You will assist in seafood, prepared foods, cheeses, and deli areas and help with rotisserie chicken and deli service.

Maintain sanitation and safety standards while meeting club policies and procedures to ensure a positive member experience. Responsibilities include accurate weighing, packaging, labeling, and stock replenishment, plus collaboration with team

Qualifications

• Completion of a training program/apprenticeship required.
• Previous meat cutting experience required.
• Knowledge of automatic/hand wrapping machines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engages and assists Members by making recommendations regarding meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Cuts, grinds, and processes fresh meats to company cutting standards.
• Weighs, packages, wraps, and labels cuts of meat, poultry, and seafood.
• Maintains meat department inventory and ensures cases are stocked.
• Rotates meats, poultry, seafood, and cheeses by expiration dates.
