Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, and maintaining AP records to support financial integrity.

Collaboration with Purchasing, Receiving, and other departments is essential to resolve issues promptly. The role requires attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and 3–5 years of AP experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of accounts payable experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to process large volumes of financial data.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Code invoices and enter into accounting system.
• Verify invoices against POs and receiving docs.
• Coordinate with Purchasing/Receiving to resolve issues.
• Process payments via checks, ACH, wire, and companyCard programs.
• Maintain payment records and audit documentation.
• Review employee expense reimbursements for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain organized AP records and audit trails.
• Support internal controls and vendor relationships.
