Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up and operate machines, follow process sheets and blueprints, and help ensure quality and safety.

The role requires ability to read English instructions, stand for long shifts in a non-climate-controlled shop, and collaborate with supervisors to optimize processes. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Math skills and ability to read and follow English instructions.
Physically able to lift and move heavy items.
Able to work hours as scheduled and follow timekeeping policies.
Stamina to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.
Basic machining knowledge and ability to use measuring devices.
Ability to collaborate with supervisors to improve production.
Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
Reliable with strong dependability.
Adaptable to shifting production demands.

Responsibilities

Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
Install machine fixtures to ensure safe operation.
Operate machines (lathes, mills, drills, presses, CNC) as specified.
Inspect operations and measure finished products for tolerances.
Adhere to cleanliness and safety protocols, wear PPE and use crane/buddy system.
Perform other duties as needed.
