Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5+ years in custom build shop preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to input data into a computer.
• Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret 3D prints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines.
• Locate and identify material for use on job.
• Complete material requisitions.
• Produce a part to quality standards using appropriate equipment.
• Enter time and labor reporting daily.
• Operate a jib crane to move materials.
• Layout, cut and fit parts for welding.
• Fabricate metal components per data sheets with safety standards.
• Solve problems and develop innovative solutions while maintaining safety.
• Maintain tools and keep workstation clean and orderly.
• Coordinate workflow with team and third‑party agents.
• Maintain quality standards per engineering specs.
• Manage workflow and troubleshoot daily; perform fabrication duties.
• Use physical strength to complete machining tasks.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
