Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in a custom build shop preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to operate a computer for data input and reading.
• Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret 3D prints/schematics to complete standard work.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and identify materials for job use.
• Complete material requisitions accurately.
• Produce components to quality standards using appropriate equipment.
• Enter time and labor reporting accurately on a daily basis.
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment manually or with a jib crane.
• Layout, cut, and fit parts for welding as required.
• Fabricate new metal components according to product data sheets and compliance standards.
• Develop innovative solutions while maintaining safety, stability, and security standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment to professional standards and keep the workstation clean and orderly.
• Coordinate workflow with team members and third-party agents.
• Maintain high-quality standards as determined by quality and engineering standards.
• Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems daily.
• Employ physical strength and endurance to complete machining tasks.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
