Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear is seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will follow production instructions, set up fixtures, and operate lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines to meet specifications.

You will inspect finished parts for tolerances, maintain a clean, safe work area, and collaborate with supervisors to improve processes. Shift is 1st, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must follow timekeeping and company policies.
• Stamina to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Knowledge of machining concepts and measuring devices.
• Collaborate with supervisors to improve production processes.

• Adaptable to shifting production demands.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from process sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
• Install machine fixtures to ensure safe operation.
• Set up and operate machines (lathes, mills, drills, presses, CNC) per specs.
• Inspect finished products to verify tolerances using measuring devices.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and use PPE; assist in other duties as needed.
• Collaborate with team to optimize production processes.
