Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related experience, and the ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years related experience
• Must pass an internal certification program
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondences
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements
• Sets stops or guides to specific lengths using scales or templates
• Observes equipment operation to detect malfunctions
• Performs routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling and cleaning
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily
• Maintain clear, orderly housekeeping in the assigned area
• Operate levers, gears, pedals, and steering as required
• Carry out other duties as needed
