Job summary

GardenCore Loader Operator will operate heavy equipment as directed following safety policies to produce a superior product. You will read specs, set stops, observe for malfunctions and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in top condition.

You must read and interpret manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively. The role requires independence, physical endurance and adherence to safety standards in a team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to pass internal certification program.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Sets stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale or templates.
• Observes equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
• Performs routine maintenance including lubrication, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area; keep area clear and orderly.
• Operate levers, shift gears, depress pedals and maneuver steering wheel.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
