Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment at our Waterloo, Indiana site. The role focuses on safely producing quality products while following all safety policies. On-site work requires ability to perform physical tasks and maintain equipment daily.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass internal certification. Key duties include maintenance, reporting, and adhering to safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience may count toward qualifications.
• Must pass an internal certification program.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak before groups as needed.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specified lengths as indicated by scale, rule, or templates.
• Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance: lubricating, fueling, cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
• Maintain housekeeping in assigned area.
• Move levers and operate controls; maneuver steering wheel.
