Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment in accordance with safety policies to produce a superior product.

You will read specifications, set stops, observe equipment, perform routine maintenance, complete reports, keep the work area clean, and operate controls to move materials. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and write, speak before groups, and the capacity to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operation manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guide to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates.
• Observe equipment operation to detect machine malfunction.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling and cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
