Job summary

The GardenCore Loader Operator will operate heavy equipment on site in Sauget, IL, following safety policies to produce a superior product. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to procedures and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key duties include reading job specifications, setting stops to specified lengths, monitoring equipment for malfunctions, performing routine maintenance, completing daily reports, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; related experience or education accepted.
• Must be able to pass internal certification program.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine operator adjustments and material requirements.
• Sets stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates.
• Observes equipment operation to detect machine malfunction.
• Performs routine maintenance (lubricating, fueling, cleaning).
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Lift and move up to 65 lbs; teamwork or equipment for heavy lifts.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
