Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Loader Operator to operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce high-quality lawn and garden products. The role requires reading specifications, setting up equipment, performing routine maintenance, and documenting daily activity.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, related trades experience, and the ability to work independently with attention to safety and accuracy. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Must be able to pass an internal certification program.

Responsibilities

• Read job specifications to determine adjustments and material requirements.
• Set stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated.
• Observe equipment operation to detect malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance: lubricating, fueling, cleaning.
• Inspect and complete equipment reports daily.
• Maintain clear, orderly work area.
