Job summary

Adcco Distribution & Transportation is seeking a Freight Bill Auditor for an on-site, full-time role in Lynn, MA. You will review carrier invoices against contracts, tariffs, and shipment documents, and resolve discrepancies with carriers and internal teams.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with spreadsheets and billing software. A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is beneficial for growth within the logistics

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing invoices, contracts, and shipment documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial or transportation management systems; comfort working with data, reports, and billing software.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple audits and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with carriers, internal teams, and management.
• High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, logistics, or a related discipline is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Review carrier invoices against contracts, tariffs, and shipment documentation; identify discrepancies and resolve issues with carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Update internal systems and prepare cost variance summaries for reporting.
• Support month-end close activities and provide data to support logistics analysis.
• Collaborate with operations, accounting, and logistics teams to support continuous improvement in freight cost control and billing processes.
