Target Freight Management is seeking a Freight Auditor to review shipments for misclassification and adjust billing under the Operations Manager. You will verify invoices, interpret carrier tariffs, and ensure pricing aligns with contracts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate freight shipments potentially misclassified and determine actions to adjust billing.
• Validate documentation from carriers when presenting invoices for payment.
• Examine, verify, and adjust freight bills based on customer/carrier pricing agreements.
• Interpret carrier tariffs and service guides, applying rules to invoices.
• Answer customer questions via email and phone; maintain professional interactions.
• Identify pricing improvements or savings opportunities by analyzing contracts.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, contribute to team efforts.
