Job summary

Truthset is hiring a Data Rated Audiences Sales Executive to drive consumption of Data Rated Audiences among media agencies, publishers, and platforms. You will own relationships with agency trading desks and data marketplace partners, growing usage and carrying a quota tied to that consumption.

You will build relationships with media agencies, educate planners and buyers on Truthset’s Truthscore methodology, and partner with marketplace teams to drive activation across DSPs like The Trade Desk

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of sales experience selling third-party data or audience segments to media agencies.
• Proven track record managing and exceeding a quota tied to data/audience consumption sold through data marketplaces.
• Experience at a data provider, data marketplace, or identity/audience company strongly preferred.
• Established relationships with media agency trading desks, data strategists, or programmatic buying teams.
• Strong working knowledge of the programmatic/audience data ecosystem—DSPs, data marketplaces, identity resolution, and audience activation.
• Excellent communication and consultative selling skills; comfortable explaining data accuracy and methodology to both technical and non-technical buyers.
• Self-starter who can independently manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through close.

Responsibilities

• Own a quota for consumption/revenue of Data Rated Audiences sold through data marketplaces.
• Build and manage relationships with media agencies, agency trading desks, and holding companies.
• Educate planners, buyers, and strategists on Truthset's methodology and tiered accuracy ratings.
• Partner with data marketplace and DSP teams to drive activation and usage.
• Develop and execute account and territory plans to build pipeline and meet quota.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and partnerships to relay feedback.
• Track and report pipeline, consumption metrics, and forecasted revenue in CRM.
• Represent Truthset at industry events and conferences.
