Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an experienced machinist to set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines, delivering precision parts for large-scale components. You will read complex blueprints, apply GD&T, and verify results with metrology tools in a climate-controlled campus.

Work involves switching between manual methods and CNC controls, with opportunities to contribute to tooling and fixture design for production-ready solutions. Strong shop math and deep understanding of tolerances are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of tool room experience or GD&T mastery.
• CNC proficiency with offsets and metrology in Lathe, VBM or HBM.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for precision part manufacture.
• Run CNC VBM, CNC Lathe, or CNC HBM with confidence.
• Use tables, workholding, and fixtures to maintain accuracy and repeatability.
