Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Lathe Setup/Operator.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints to setup machine for production.
• Setup job according to specifications or work order.
• Follow blueprints and directions to produce required quantity of parts.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines regarding CNC lathe operation and proper guarding.
• Move raw material to machine area by hand or pallet jack.
• Load material into machine by hand or crane.
• Move machined parts to boxes or pallets by hand or crane.
• Ensure parts meet basic quality standards prior to inspection.
• Complete routine CNC machine maintenance and keep the work area clean.
