Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Machinist certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Machining apprenticeship completion is a plus.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and shop mathematics.
• Experience operating horizontal/vertical milling machines and CNC equipment.
• Ability to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate horizontal/vertical milling machines and CNC machines according to work packages.
• Use precision measurement tools to verify dimensions and tolerances and perform first article inspections.
• Set up and program parts applying G Code to write machining programs for each part.
• Exercise judgment to plan setups, sequence operations, and processes within standard methods.
