• Coordinates pre-registrations for day-of-service with patient access staff.
• Collaborates with physician offices to obtain necessary pre-certifications and documentation.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality of health information.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains patient information and insurance details to verify coverage and pre-certifications.
• Contacts physician offices to obtain pre-certifications and document information.
• Informs Financial Clearance about patients without insurance or with copayment obligations.
• Identifies physicians not in the dictionary and forwards to HIM for addition.
• Manages daily pre-registrations and accommodates add-ons or walk-ins as needed.
• Performs data quality improvements in patient records.
