• Create initial electronic health record for patients to ensure accurate medical records and safety.
• Check in and register patients; verify demographics, insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Discuss financial responsibilities with patients and refer to Financial Advocates when needed.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Assist with scheduling, patient guidance, transportation needs, and interpreter services.
• Monitor EHR queues and follow department processes.
