Job summary

Elsevier’s Advanced Data Solutions team seeks a Technical Consultant (Pre-Sales) to drive revenue by shaping data-driven use cases and demonstrating AI-enabled workflows grounded in trusted scientific data.

You will lead technical discovery, design demonstrations, and provide a trusted technical advisory throughout the sales cycle, partnering with Sales, PS, and Product to translate customer needs into actionable architectures.

Qualifications

• Experience translating data and software capabilities into win-ready solutions.
• Ability to lead technical discovery and articulate use cases.
• Strong customer-facing skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery to understand objectives, workflows, and data landscape.
• Design tailored demonstrations and PoCs to validate fit and value.
• Advise on solution positioning, trade-offs, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with Product, PS, and Marketing to inform roadmaps.
