Job summary

Riverbed, the leader in AIOps for observability, is hiring a Solutions Engineer to work in a highly technical pre-sales environment. You will act as the technical subject matter expert, deliver demonstrations, proof-of-concept projects, and collaborate with the Sales team to drive opportunities with global enterprises.

The role requires understanding customer requirements, building value-based proposals, and enabling partners. Travel of 20%–40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-sales role within enterprise sales cycles.
• Knowledge of industry technologies and competitive offerings.
• Proven consultative skills from presales engagements.
• Ability to travel 20%–40%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical SME throughout the sales process with demos and POC projects.
• Collaborate with Sales to own the sales cycle and account plan.
• Identify requirements for additional resources and internal sponsors.
• Document customer requirements and create value-based proposals.
• Build relationships with partners and enablement of partner ecosystem to drive opportunities.
