Job summary

Planet seeks a Pre-Sales Sr. Solutions Architect to design complex, value-driven solutions using Planet data for US Defense and Intelligence clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to tailor offerings and respond to tenders.

This full-time, hybrid role is based in Arlington, VA with up to 25% travel. You will present to senior government stakeholders and mentor team members as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years supporting US Defense and Intelligence in a technical capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and operate in hybrid environment.
• Experience with geospatial software and data workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver demonstrations highlighting Planet’s data and services.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customer staff.
• Design solutions that meet business challenges and scalability needs.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management and Business Development.
• Present to executive government stakeholders and participate in RFP/RFI responses.
