Job summary

Planet seeks a Pre-Sales Sr. Solutions Architect for remote work based in South Korea. You will design complex solutions using Planet data to address KoreaDefense and Intelligence needs, collaborating with teams to voice customer requirements and enhance offerings.

Role requires up to 50% travel and comfort in defense/intelligence sectors. You will lead technical engagements, present to government stakeholders, and mentor teammates while ensuring the voice of the customer shapes product strategy

Qualifications

6+ years of technical experience in defense/intelligence sector.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Experience with GIS and remote sensing in the Defense industry.
Familiarity with QGIS, ArcGIS, GDAL, Python, and related tools.

Responsibilities

Architect and deliver solution demonstrations highlighting Planet’s data and services.
Build relationships with customers’ technical and management staff as trusted advisor.
Act as senior technical advisor to recommend tailored solutions.
Craft technical responses to tenders, RFIs/RFPs, and proposals.
Partner with sales to drive the technical strategy across accounts.
