Job summary

Planet Labs PBC is seeking a Pre-Sales Sr. Solutions Architect to design and present complex solutions leveraging our geospatial data for the US Defense and Intelligence community. Travel up to 25% and a hybrid work model with the Washington, D.C.

office in Arlington, VA are required. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, act as the voice of the customer, and tailor architectures that address business challenges, budgets, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience supporting the US Defense and Intelligence community in a technical capacity.
• Ability to travel up to 25%, including international travel.
• Experience with GIS and Remote Sensing users within the Defense industry.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver solution demonstrations and presentations highlighting technical capabilities and value.
• Build relationships with customers' technical and management staff as a trusted advisor.
• Act as a senior technical advisor to recommend architectures that fit business challenges.
• Craft technical responses to tenders, RFIs/RFPs, and unsolicited proposals.
• Partner with sales to drive the technical strategy across accounts.
