Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies in Chicago seeks a seasoned Pre-Sales Engineer to partner with the sales team, articulate our security portfolio, and design end-to-end solutions for customer environments. You will educate customers and partners, run proofs of concept, and respond to RFIs/RFPs to advance deals.

The role requires strong presentation skills, deep cybersecurity knowledge, and the ability to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of typical customers networks.
Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer's environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future

Responsibilities

Work closely with the sales team to identify prospects.
Demonstrate Check Point’s full portfolio to keep organizations safe from threats.
Educate customers, prospects and partners on security challenges and Check Point solutions.
Drive meetings with customers to identify problems and provide appropriate solutions.
Address technical questions and manage Proof-of-Concepts.
Respond to RFIs and RFPs.
Engage and educate partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
Participate in cybersecurity events
