Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical and security engineering resource for the sales team. The role involves preparing engineered solutions for integrated security systems including access control, CCTV/IP video surveillance, and intrusion detection.

You will generate SOWs, develop cost estimates up to $250k, and coordinate with sales, management, and vendors to deliver compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in a pre-sales support/estimating position with access control and CCTV/IP video surveillance preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Valid US driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineered security solutions and cost estimates up to $250k.
• Generate SOWs and detailed design narratives.
• Interface with sales, marketing, management, vendor and customer teams.
• Provide technical guidance during the sales/engineering process.
• Present solutions and train staff on new offerings.
