Job summary

i2G Systems is seeking a remote Pre-Sales Security Engineer to design and support security solutions for new and existing clients, collaborating with internal and external teams and subcontractors to ensure project success.

You will review security architectures, specify system components for access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection, and prepare solution design documentation and BOMs while maintaining knowledge of industry-leading vendors.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of related experience in the electronic security industry.
• Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience in design and planning of access control and video systems.
• Professional electronic security certifications or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Possess thorough understanding of standard electronic security technology (ACS, IDS, FDS, CCTV).
• Review architectural and electrical drawings for security integrations.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions for system installations and upgrades.
• Review field survey docs and provide technical assistance with RFI/RFP responses.
• Create solution design documentation (drawings, BOMs, summaries).
• Provide technical support for in-office and on-site team members.
• Maintain familiarity with current electronic security technologies and vendors.
