Job summary

CBX Solutions LLC is hiring a Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical and security engineering resource for the sales team in Texas. You will develop engineered security solutions, prepare detailed cost estimates, and collaborate across sales, marketing, and customer teams to win complex projects.

You will map customer requirements to access control, CCTV/IP surveillance, and biometrics tech while staying aligned with organizational standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Current and valid US driver’s license.
• 3+ years in a pre-sales support/estimating role with access control and CCTV/IP video surveillance, or related physical security experience.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely, accurate engineered security solutions and cost estimates up to $250k+.
• Generate SOWs and design narratives for engineered solutions.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, management, vendors, and customers.
• Lead engineering efforts for mid to large, complex security projects.
• Analyze blueprints and specs to prepare compliant solutions and estimates.
• Conduct needs analysis meetings and site walks with customers and the sales team.
• Research new security technologies and train sales staff on offerings.
