Vertiv in Atlanta seeks a Commercial Estimator to provide pre-sales technical expertise for MV/LV switchgear, switchboards, panelboards and busway, supporting bids and technical documents. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to propose products and services to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field preferred.
• 2+ years Commercial or relevant industrial experience preferred.
• Experience in technical scope review and formal proposal development preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution products and systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of SLDs, relay PLC schemes, and network diagrams.
• Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist in developing tailored solutions based on customer requirements and/or RFPs.
• Perform equipment selections and technical calculations for LV switchgear, switchboards, panelboards and busway.
• Apply Quote Configurator tool to provide quote support.
• Assist in the review of custom service & solution orders and provide technical instruction throughout the order workflow.
• Maintain positive, progressive attitude toward targets regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity.
• Provide technical support to Vertiv Sales and customers.
• Analyze customer’s technical specifications and lines to meet requirements cost-effectively.
• Follow up on opportunities to confirm win/loss status.
• Update salesforce with quotation information and assist with orders for expedient handover to project manager.
• Participate in new product development projects.
• Other duties as required.
