Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree or higher in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field desired.
• At least 1–3 years of customer service, administrative, and/or data entry experience preferred.
• One to two years of previous experience in hospital related field preferred.
• Experience with database software applications desired.

Responsabilidades

• Answers phones from patients professionally and responds to inquiries and complaints.
• Schedules patients based on guidelines and medical appropriateness.
• Obtains and collects necessary information to schedule and register patients.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance information for scheduling and registration.
• Collects financial data, insurance, authorizations, and reference numbers.
• Performs real-time eligibility verification and identifies registration errors for correction.
