Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking a driven Pre-Planning Advisor (PPA) in the Indianapolis area. The role focuses on selling pre-need arrangements and services while supporting families with professionalism and compassion.

The PPA will generate referrals, maintain client relationships, and present the Dignity Memorial Personal Planning Guide. The position may require evenings and weekends and requires strong prospecting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High school education or equivalent; 1-2 years of college.
• License: valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Sales or industry experience; CRM experience a plus.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: teamwork, ability to work independently, flexible hours, good driving record, integrity, communication, bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation through networking and referrals for funeral services and pre-need arrangements.
• Prospect a minimum of 4 hours daily when working 8 hours, via face-to-face outreach.
• Obtain referrals by following up with families after services.
• Network with community and civic organizations.
• Present Dignity Memorial Personal Planning Guide to families.
• Track activity levels and maintain productivity.
• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Build strong relationships with families and provide timely service.
• Support families in grief with empathy and clear communication.
• Coordinate with Funeral Directors and location staff to ensure seamless service.
