SCA Health is hiring an Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp PACU at a high-volume ambulatory surgery center in the United States. The role requires assessing patients before and after anesthesia, implementing individualized perioperative care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient recovery.

The ideal candidate has a nursing degree and at least one year of PreOp or PACU experience, with active RN licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• One year of Pre Operative or PACU experience required.
• Medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as an RN.
• BLS/BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included.

Responsabilidades

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per facility policies.
• Describe pathophysiology and anesthesia-related physiology concepts.
• Apply discharge criteria and develop perianesthesia plans of care.
• Provide perioperative education and communicate status throughout care continuum.
• Perform safe medication administration and monitor patient safety.
• Collaborate with team and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Ensure infection control and patient rights are upheld.
