Service Corporation International is seeking a Family Service Counselor to serve families by coordinating at-need cemetery arrangements and selling pre-need plans. You will be the primary contact, delivering compassionate, personalized service and helping generate revenue for the cemetery.

The role requires strong communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills, with the flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of college or equivalent education/experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new families with a minimum daily prospecting effort.
• Obtain referrals from families served.
• Network with community and civic groups.
• Present information to families and referred clients.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with funeral directors and staff to ensure seamless service.
