Job summary

Ampact's Early Learning Corps is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom, delivering proven activities and coaching students to build early literacy and math skills.

You’ll partner with a teacher, track progress, and enter scores into tracking software, with training and ongoing coaching. Roles run August 2026–June 2027; 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and adapt based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, basic software).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with on-site coach.
• Enter student scores into tracking software.
