Job summary

Ampact's Early Learning Corps is hiring an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom, delivering proven activities and coaching students toward strong literacy and math foundations.

You will partner with a teacher, support children through activities, track progress, and engage in ongoing training. Part- and full-time roles are available for the 2026-27 year, with daytime hours and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and make improvements based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (like email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities thoughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with community.
