Job summary

Ampact is seeking an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom, delivering proven activities and coaching students to build early literacy and math skills. You will partner with a teacher and help students develop confidence through hands-on activities.

Roles include tracking progress, attending coaching sessions, and committing to growth through ongoing training. This position is part of the Early Learning Corps program, with a focus on fostering a love of learning.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve from feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email, navigating online).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into tracking software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
