Job summary

Ampact is seeking an Early Learning Tutor for the Early Learning Corps to support pre-kindergarten students. You will work in a classroom, helping children build early literacy and math skills, with direct coaching from an on-site educator.

You will participate in training, track progress, and contribute to community goals while enjoying a structured schedule with daytime hours and school-aligned breaks.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and apply feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading and writing.
• Must be 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizenship, national, or lawful permanent resident status.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet with the onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
