Job summary

Ampact's Early Learning Corps seeks an Early Learning Tutor to work in a pre-kindergarten classroom, delivering proven activities and coaching students to build early literacy and math skills. You’ll partner with a teacher to support conversations, reading, writing, singing, and play, helping students gain confidence every day.

We offer 35 hours per week for full-time roles during the 2026-27 school year, with part-time options at 25 or 18 hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Proficient with basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• Able to follow instructions and apply feedback.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
• Support preschoolers with learning activities throughout the day.
• Track student progress and meet with on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores into tracking software.
• Participate in coaching and training to grow professionally.
• Share experiences with the community.
