Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Pre-Construction Manager in the United States, with a focus on developing and implementing a nationwide Pre-Construction program for data center campuses. You will serve as the primary liaison between Real Estate, Design Engineering, Due Diligence, and other partners to provide schedule forecasting and constructability guidance.

Ideal candidates have extensive practical construction experience, with bidding, contracting, and knowledge of critical data

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction or project management.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction activities across multiple campuses nationwide.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Design Engineering, and Due Diligence teams.
• Perform schedule forecasting, budgeting, and constructability guidance.
• Negotiate bids, reviews, and contracting with general contractors.
• Manage GC and third-party vendors during design phase.
• Develop handoff documentation to Construction Manager partners.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
