Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• Experience in Pre-Admission Testing, Pre-operative nursing, PACU, Surgical Services, Critical Care, Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete preoperative assessment for scheduled procedures.
• Ensure patients are medically optimized and prepared for surgery.
• Review diagnostic testing and coordinate with physicians and ancillary departments.
• Provide patient education and reduce delays/cancellations by identifying risks.
