Center for Special Surgery in Saint Petersburg, FL is seeking an experienced Pre Admissions Testing Registered Nurse to join our team. The Pre Admissions Nurse coordinates assessment data, nursing diagnoses, and care plans with patients and the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include determining outcomes, implementing planned interventions, evaluating progress, and documenting the process, with sensitivity to age-specific needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care by collecting and analyzing assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and develop a care plan with the patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Identify interventions to attain expected outcomes, implement the plan of care, and document the process while evaluating progress.
• Deliver care with sensitivity to age-specific and unique needs of the patient/family.
